Guest JR Posted September 12, 2007 Posted September 12, 2007 Saludos!! I wish to make an Unattended installation of WinXP in my laptop but it hasn't a floppy drive. :( what options do i have? what can i do? may be with an external USB floppy drive? or... ¿? please help me JR

Use a supported USB drive for the answer file. Another method is to use a network share point or to create (burn) an XP CD with the answer file on the cd. John

Put winnt.sif in the I386 folder on your XP installation CD. For more info, do a Google search for winnt.sif. Here's an example of an article you'll find.
