I Have an old psone laying around and im wondering if theres anything interesting i can do with it?..like ive seen things on the internet about connecting them to your pc and modchips and whatnot but im wondering how?.. can anyone help ?

You can connect them to your PC - as for the modchips these are normally for using copied games and as such - we will not provide assistance with this aspect!

how would i go about connecting it to my pc?

From memory there is an Ethernet port on the front or back - but I think that you need an adapter for it - not 100% sure

Sorry - for some reason I was referring to the PS2 - :doh:

- if there are no USB ports or Ethernet - then no you cannot connect to the net.
