Guest David C Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I recently setup a differential ntbackup to a file and scheduled it to run at 2:00am every night and it is not running. It shows on the scheduled tasks and is checked as being active. Any ideas on where I can look? Also, I checked the event logs and nothing shows up there. Thank you. David

Guest David C Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Re: Scheduled ntbackup not running When you say "Backup Log" are you referring to the report you can print from the ntbackup interface? That is empty. Thanks. Guest Pegasus \(MVP\) Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Re: Scheduled ntbackup not running ntbackup.exe maintains up to ten log files. Look in c:\documents and settings\..\..\backup*.log. If the log files are empty then ntbackup does run (contrary to the Subject of your post) but it waits for some user input. Schedule it to run under the same account as your foreground account, then watch what happens.
