Guest J & P Beres Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I was trying to repair a program in the "Add/Remove" section and accidentally clicked on Remove for a program I think was called "Oscar". I have no idea if it's something my PC came pre-loaded with or if it was something I had via a download of something else. I'm experiencing a few problems now like icons not showing up in my start menu and some Java things not running. I reloaded Java and that didn't help. Any ideas?

Guest Script Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 RE: Oops, removed "Oscar"??? Use "Restore" function. Start | All Programs | Accesories | System Tools | System Restore | Restore My Computer to an Earlier Time Restore to sometime before you uninstalled "Oscar". Guest J & P Beres Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Re: Oops, removed "Oscar"??? Thank you all for your help. I did try "Googling" it and came up empty handed. The Wikpedia article helped enough that I believe I'll have to restore back to the other day BEFORE my brain didn't send the correct signal to my mouse finger....
