pc shuts down as i try to boot up

Hi, im i noob, i really need help!

I have a medion pc, with xp media center version.

my comp was working fine then one day as i was booting up, it comes to a screen giving me options to

start windows in safe mode

start windows with las known working configuration

start windows normally

ive clicked on all three but as it begins to load it shuts down and starts again!

how do i solve this prob? thanks.

Can you tell us what is the last service it tries to load when you attempt to boot in "Safe Mode"? Is it something like Agp440.sys?

Also have you changed anything recently - anything at all?

it has lots of different loads

like

 

multidisk/rdisk/drivers32...

 

 

and i havnt changed anything. it just happend one day.

Also you could try popping the CMOS battery out, leave it out for 10 minutes and then reinsert it - its the small watch battery at the bottom of the board
