Guest jeffk Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I have a user that, when anyone including the domain administrator attempts to log into her computer, they get the error "Windows cannon connect to the domain, either because the domain coontroller is down or other unavailable, or because your computer account was not found. Please try again later. If this message continues to appear contact your system administrator for assistance." The server is up, as I'm able to use terminal server to access it. What can I do to get her logging into her computer (along with the domain administrator)???

Guest jeffk Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Re: network login Is there any other way? I don't want to lose the user profile on the computer if I can help it. Guest Pegasus \(MVP\) Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Re: network login You won't lose the profile, and if you do then it's not too hard to relink it to the user account. Guest jeffk Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Re: network login How do you relink it to the user account? I thought once the computer was removed/re-added to the domain, it created a new profile? Guest Pegasus \(MVP\) Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Re: network login We'll cross this bridge if and when we have to. Manipulating profiles is a well-documented process.
