Guest Musawwir Spiegel Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Is there a way for me to disable the "Desktop Cleanup Wizard" from appearing on my screen and prompting me about unused program icons on my desktop? I am perfectly aware that I can delete any desktop icons any time I wish. I don't need this annoying pop-up to remind me.

I don't need this annoying pop-up to remind me. Right click an open spot on your desktop and select Properties from the menu. Note: You can also go to Control Panel and double click Display to bring up the properties sheet. In Display Properties, click on the Desktop tab. On the Desktop page, click on the "Customize Desktop" button. On the General page of Desktop Items, remove the check mark from the box next to "Run Desktop Cleanup Wizard every 60 days". Click OK twice. Good luck Nepatsfan
