Re: Setting individual User settings for TS

The recommended way to do this is by modifying the Default User

profile on the server. This profile is used as the template for

each new user, when they logon for the first time to the TS.

For users who already have an existing TS profile, modifying the

Default User profile on the server won't help. For settings which

don't have a GPO entry, you'll have to find the registry key which

defines the setting and import it into the user profile on logon.

Screensaver on a TS should be disabled (it is by default), use the

screen saver on the clients instead. There's a GPO setting for

screen savers.

Re: Setting individual User settings for TS

Vera is right about the default profile, Microsoft published thsi in KB

325364, you can see the article here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325364

As for the screensaver, there is actually a policy setting for screensavers,

we have used them on our TS's, in the policy browse to User Configuration /

Administrative Templates / Control Panel / Display.... from there you can

adjust Screen Saver, Screen saver timeout and the password protect option.

hope this helps
