Guest Roy S Posted September 15, 2007 Posted September 15, 2007 I am unable to open MS Word 2007 documents sent via e-mail with my MS Word 2002 (Office XP). I receive it as AOL message attachment "winmail.dat." I have even downloaded the MS Word 2007 converter and still get Error in opening. I don't understand why I receive it as a .dat file. Where is this conversion taking place and why doesn't the converter work? Any ideas?
