Hey guys,

I have just installed an EMU 0404 into my pc for recording.

And i still wanted to used the Realtec AC97 that was already on my pc

for a sound output.

But the AC97 has dissappeared off of the soundcard list in "Sounds and

Audio Devices."

How do i get it back?

Thanks

Chris

If, in the properties of one you can change its irq, that might let the

other one be seen. Ask in a hardware group for a better chance of a

solution.

EMU 0404 is usually, if not always a sound blaster (creative sound card).

AC97 usually denotes an onboard sound device. In the BIOS it usually

has 2 settings auto and disable. AUTO will recognize the SB and disable.

I do emphasize _usually_.
