Sending a fax

Recommended Posts

I have a Canon printer/fax.

I have blood labs done on a regular basis.

I can just scan them and fax them using the fax machine, but I often

would like to attach instructions to them. (without having to print

them)

What I would like to do is be able to scan each page of my labs and

save them to my computer. I would then like to send the jpgs to the

doctor and include a letter.

I haven't figured out a way to send the entire batch with one phone

call.

Can this be done with software included with Office 2003 or XP?

Thanks for you time

Re: Sending a fax

what it entails is using

microsoft office imaging

and microsoft office scanning

programs/features which are

included and found under

Microsoft Office Tools.

if you have everything

installed correctly, you

should have a MDI print

driver installed as well as

your fax print driver.

firstly, in word create your

doc and save it as .doc file.

then you need to print it

to the microsoft document image

that document will be converted,

opened and displayed inside

microsoft imaging software

next there will be a scan button

in the menu or tool bar.

clicking the scan button will

begin the scanning process

for the other paperwork and

merge them into one mdi file

that you can save and then print

to your fax printer...
