BAK files from ???

Recommended Posts

For some reason, unknown to me, I started getting .BAK files, daily, in the

Recycle Bin, for every file in My Documents. I haven't changed anything that

I know of. All I do is the Updates as they come down. Any Help would be

greatly appreciated.

Do you use OutLook Express? It routinely "compresses"( remove blank

spaces) its "internal" files.

I do, and you may have something there. I'll take a close look at it and

hopefully there's a way to turn it off. If not, at least I know what it is.

Thanks!

I have yet to see the method of turning this "compress" off. It is

important not to "stop" it when it occurs since you will loose emails

(personal experience!!!)
