Guest TomD Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 For some reason, unknown to me, I started getting .BAK files, daily, in the Recycle Bin, for every file in My Documents. I haven't changed anything that I know of. All I do is the Updates as they come down. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

It routinely "compresses"( remove blank spaces) its "internal" files.
Guest TomD Posted September 16, 2007 Posted September 16, 2007 Re: BAK files from ??? I do, and you may have something there. I'll take a close look at it and hopefully there's a way to turn it off. If not, at least I know what it is. Thanks! It is important not to "stop" it when it occurs since you will loose emails (personal experience!!!)
