Hello, Friends!

I have a problem on my Windows Server 2003 SP2 Domain Controller. My

DHCP Client Service cannot started and giving error "Error 1079: The

account specified for this service is different from the account

specified for other services running in the same process." I had tried

many things and also gave permissions in regedit but nothing works. Any

Idea Friends what is the problem.

Hello hammadmasood,

Which account is used when you check on the LOGON tab under the service properties?

Best regards

Hello hammadmasood,

Do you mean to configure FSRM for folder quotas? And are you talking about

NTFS permissions on the shared folder, well they depend on your needs? Share

permissions should be set to Full control for authenticated users.

Hi,

My computer still won't work and I tried the advice you gave on the

forum style_emoticons//sad.gif I have a new sony vaio and the I am trying to get connected to

the network through a cable. I have tried everything but it only reads

''local access only'' and it still identifying it. The DHCP will not

start up though and I think this could be the reason that the internet

network connection won't work? I can't get the DHCP working though

because Error 1079 as you decribed keeps appearing style_emoticons//sad.gif and i've tried the

NT AUTHORITY with both Local Service and Network Service. Can you please

help me?

Thank you so much,

Sinead
