Guest chesterboy Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Hi, Problem - After upgrading to new computer (with vista pre-installed), I cannot get our satellite broadband connection going because the modem is not compatible with vista! Several frustrating calls to our large-multinational ISP were useless. No support. I have been told to use the old computer (with XP on it ) as a gateway. Cant do that because the HDD is corrupted or damaged. I have my original XP cd, so my question is can i install xp onto the new computer alongside Vista and get the internet connection going? The modem is a DW4000 connected by USB. Any help would be great thanks.
