windows xp Minimize-Restore problem with RealPlayer

After I minimize the RealPlayer window,

I cannot restore the window later by clicking

on the icon in the bar at the bottom of the desktop.

It seems to move as if to restore, but the window

that was open remains open. I can find RealPlayer

by minimizing all the other windows I have open.

I could suggest looking at Real Alternative. You can get this from

http://free-codecs.com

 

It doesn't play some of the specialist streaming services, but it does most,

and without any of the hassles of realplayer. Plus, it works with most media

players, so you are not tied-in to one product.
