I apologize .. I just read how I was supposed to post and I am sor

I have just made comments and not highlighted that I had questions from each

of you as you threaded. I apologize and will try to rephrase my last most

pertinent questions ... but now I realize I probably won't be able to ask

them here .. because they branch off of what my questions initially were here

... and onto the whole reason why I came here.

I initially came here to find out the latest version of Internet Explorer

and instead saw the post about Ad-Aware 2007. I am going to past my last

post here .. now as a question and re-edit it. I should not have mentioned

PayPal or tried to "buy" some help ... Sorry. No disrespect was intended. I

will try to not circumnavigate all of my questions off of the last thread

that I have read. Althought the questions do each branch off of one another

and become another question. Ugh

In needing to disable Isdelete.exe .. which I just found on my computer ..

it is 8 KB big .. a small DOS program? Right? And it installed itself under

System32 and then perhaps the subdirectory under that. I listed the file

path in one of my comments that I should have said was a question.

I do have the paid version of Ad-Aware 2007 ... how can it be that it is not

up to par any longer? I read the person who is using Ad-Aware 2005 ... well

how can it update the definitions files? SpyBot is great I realize but I run

that too. And of

course Norton Anti-Virus. Okay I know this thread was not about security but

it is so consuming to be constantly having to monitor how many programs to

monitor the computer.

I thought I might find in microsoft.public.inetexplorer the latest version

of Internet Explorer that is installable. My problem .. my Ad-Aware "user

rules" say that I am running 2 versions of the file Iexplore.exe ... with

different MD5 checksum numbers. So I use my file alyzer from SpyBot and I

search all

of the Iexplore.exe files on my computer .. gosh darnitt .. I just can not

believe

why do we have to have so many frigging layers of programs on WinXPSP2 .. ..

is this really necessary? Why can't downloaded newer versions just

overinstall on top of the last version? Here I have like 10 Iexplore.exe

files and not one of them has the MD5 checksum numbers that Ad-Aware says

apply to the two versions of Iexplore.exe that are supposedly running ... and

are listed in my "user rules".

Not only that .. when I go up to blue round question mark icon on my

Iexplore bar at the extreme right of it, to check the version running of

Internet Explorer, under "About Internet Explorer", it is 7.0.5730 (close to

that) which is NOT the latest version of the Iexplore.exe files that are

listed that come up under the search I just did. How do I get the latest of

those files to be running? Or do I?

Finally .. the minute I was hedged into using Windows Live Mail Beta just

days ago it seems .. .. from what was long ago my MSN email program that

morphed into MSN Messenger email program and both of those came with MSN

Explorer always

running ALONG with Internet Explorer .........

As I was hedged into downloading the all new beta version of Windows Live

Desktop Mail which now is Windows Live Mail .. which is supposed to take over

Outlook Express and which is supposed to be the latest MSN email software ..

I guess .. ???? unless you have Office 2007 in which case I guess you are

running

Outlook with MSN email in there .. ???

I am a paid subscriber to MSN Premium since the beginning of MSN but am lost

now because MSN Explorer seems to have disappeared in the last couple of days

on my machine as I try to run Windows Live Mail to download my mail from what

was just MSN Messenger email (I think) ... Are we still supposed to be

running MSN Explorer?

In terms of Windows Live Mail .. newsgroups are supposed to display in

Windows Live Mail, Right? So is anyone here viewing this thread in Windows

Live Mail? I am sorry to have branched off more questions.
