Guest Wolfeymole Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 That link does not work Rabby but you should have the option to output to an external monitor. Some things definitely not right here. Do you have a function key on the laptop to output to a second monitor? On my Acer laptop it's F5 Quote

Dalo Harkin Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 You must also SET the TV's actual channel to the computer - mine is by a button on the controller with a circle and an arrow facing into it - basically the same as if you were changing from one SCART channel to another Quote Intel Q6600 @ 4Ghz (Watercooled)Asus P5K premium black pearl4GB OCZ Reaper 8500260GTX Join Free PC Help - Register here Donations are welcome - here PC Build We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. After all, no one knows everything and you may have the answer that someone needs.

rabbyp Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 I meant how do I add one on my PC. Ive already got the PC channel on my TV. Thats how I know its not working. As Ive mentioned I have had other desktops and laptops working fine on my TV but mine just doesnt seem to work. Is there a way to tell download drivers or anything to the PC to let it know its connecting to a LCD TV or am I way off course here? Quote

I dont understand what you mean here - you connect the VGA cable from the PC to the TV and if there is not a connector on the back of the TV for the VGA then you need either an S-VIDEO and then seperate audio cables of a converter for whatever type of output VGA to HDMI etc Quote Intel Q6600 @ 4Ghz (Watercooled)Asus P5K premium black pearl4GB OCZ Reaper 8500260GTX Join Free PC Help - Register here Donations are welcome - here PC Build We are all members helping other members. Please return here where you may be able to help someone else. After all, no one knows everything and you may have the answer that someone needs.
