Guest onemulligan Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 I went to help a friend with his computer. I tried to change the desktop picture but when I go to Control Panel, Display there is no tap for Desktop. How could it be missing? The other tabs are there. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

If it exists it should be set to 0 (zero). If not, double click the value and change it to 0. If it doesn't exist, right click in the right pane, select New, DWord Value and name it NoDispBackGroundPage. Leave it set at 0. -- Regards Ron Badour MS MVP 1997 - 2007 "onemulligan" <onemulligan@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:27D71185-5858-4C0C-AA28-A0294E82DBFA@microsoft.com... >I went to help a friend with his computer.
