Guest JimC Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 My PC has both Norton System Works 2005 and Norton Internet Security (Can't tell which version or revision the NIS is). Do these two programs conflict with each other, and should I remove one of them? Also, there is a Symantic section on my HD with about 30 files, many relating to updates. Thanks, Jim
Guest JS Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Re: Norton Internet Security and System Works - Novice question NIS and System Works both have Anti-Virus features which is about the only thing they have in common. If NIS is still receiving updates from Symantec then it most likely is the newer product therefore (I don't use NIS) I would check the Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel to see if you can un-install the AV component of System Works, leaving the other System Works features still installed if you still use them.
