Guest Al Posted September 17, 2007 Posted September 17, 2007 Can anyone help me on this, please? I am running XP Home with SP2 and need to have my computer automatically restart and run Explorer after such things as a power failure. I will be monitoring my home security via video cam and want to have access to live feed if something happens while I am gone. THANK YOU so much for any ideas.

Automatic restart is not a Windows function but a function of the BIOS. Get into your BIOS setup program and have a look at the power options. If unsure how to do this, consult your motherboard manual.
