Guest William Oertell Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 In my Documents and Settings I have two copies of NT AUTHORITY. I have NT AUTHORITY and NT AUTHORITY.000. Actually, there are three copies of folders LocalService and NetworkService. They are: LocalService LocalService.NT AUTHORITY LocalService.NT AUTHORITY.000 NetworkService. NetworkService.NT AUTHORITY NetworkService.NT AUTHORITY.000 From what I understand I have to have NT AUTHORITY, but can the registry be edited to delete NT AUTHORITY.000? It seems like a lot of wasted hard disk real estate. I assume I'd have to transfer the most recent values from NT AUTHORITY.000 to NT AUTHORITY and edit the registry accordingly, finally deleting NT AUTHORITY.000. This would probably require logging into the machine as NT AUTHORITY rather than just administrator, right? Thanks!
