cr or dvd for saving photos

hi, this may seem like a simple question, in fact i know it is, but am i better saving my precious photos to cd or dvd, and is there a particular type of disc i should be using, thanks

It makes no difference other than the amount of photos that you have a CD will only hold 700MB of DATA whereas a DVD will hold 4.7GB
