Guest OKville Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 Hi. I like to keep a Word file and an Excel file open at all times. I also tend to have a bunch of other things open at the same time. Is there a way to not show the Word and Excel files as a taskbar button to save some room? I already know they are open and sit in plain sight, I really don't need them in the taskbar. Thanks for any help. Hope this explanation made sense.
Guest RajKohli Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 RE: Taskbar buttons I will recommend you the following FreeWare utility. I tried it and think it will solve your purpose. This application will hide the current application to the System Tray using the Keyboard Shortcut. You can hide as many application you want and whenever you want them back just right-click on the program icon and choose from the list. It will cover only one icon space in your system tray either you hide 10 applications. http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/downloads/WinBoss_35933_p/free.htm Hope this help, let us know!
