Guest Justin Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 I have dual hard drives. If you delete a file off the second hard drive (not installed with Windows XP), where does the file go?, meaning where is the recycle bin located?
Guest Ron Badour Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Re: Recycle Bin I think to the recycle bin for that partition; however, you might want to make a .txt file, name it zyzyzy.txt, delete it and see where it ends up. -- Regards Ron Badour MS MVP 1997 - 2007 "Justin" <Justin@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:739BAD23-47D9-454E-B1C8-59C12C51FF87@microsoft.com... >I have dual hard drives. Guest Ron Badour Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 Re: Recycle Bin My apology--I answered without thinking the process through. There is a MS article http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=136517 on how the recycle bin works and while XP is not listed as one of the systems the article pertains to, I am fairly sure the process is just about the same. When you read the article, note that it refers to drives but it actually means partitions. I have had a query into MS for a month asking if the process is the same but have not yet received an answer. -- Regards Ron Badour MS MVP 1997 - 2007 "Justin" <Justin@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:C47F8DA2-D957-4C05-8946-1C9288453024@microsoft.com... > How will I track it? >
