Guest Techhead Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 If user A logs into a computer, the "H" drive is mapped to his/hers home folder and displays the name of the folder that it is mapped to. Example, bjohnson on 'fileserver' (H:). If user B logs in, "H" is re- mapped to this users folder but the name of the folder still remains as user A. If you open up "H", you see user B's files but the name of the mapped folder is still user A. It's almost like it's cached. Is there some king of registry setting to clear this kind of cache? I force the disconnect and the mapping is not persistent. Any ideas?

Are you using offline files? Are you using a login script?

No offline files and yes, I am using a login script. The script forcefully disconnects the H drive from the previous user and re-maps the new user with no persistency.

If, during the session, you run the login script again, does it fix the problem?
