chris lovett Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 As it wasn't the same person who replied, i am double checking and adding some input. What you should check is that it's reading your hardrive when it's loading for those 5 seconds. If it's not try checking the connection between the hard drive and computer. It could be a faulty lead but they are cheap and easy to replace. Secondly if your Ram is Loose you may notice a Beeping and then it wouldn't load. chris lovett Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 I had bought a Bran new PC and 20% of the time it would run but rest of the time it wasn't picking up my hardrive, this came down to a cheap cable supplied with the computer so i swapped it with an old one and worked, Later went back and added the same cable to old PC as was giving it away and same problem occured there. :) I think the connections are fine ''i have to keep doing this util it comes on and runs properly'' Quote If Computers always worked i would be out of a job.
