Guest jsc248 Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Hi Gang, Can someone help me? I have Microsoft Student with Encarta 2008. When I install it I cannot see the licence agreement but I continue with the installation because I always agree with Microsoft licences. The program installs to near the end, when the programs brings a pop up that says that I do not have sufficent permission for installation of the fonts. Then a similar pop up that says that says it cannot register the type libraries. Is there something that I can do or should I give up? Thanks for anybodys help! jsc248.
Guest Bob I Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Re: Font question If you are not logging in as the PC administrator, then permissions on the PC are drastically reduced. Log on as the administrator or with administrator privileges and try again. jsc248 wrote: > Hi Gang, > Can someone help me? > I have Microsoft Student with Encarta 2008. Guest Bob I Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Re: Font question Um, do you have an anti-virus program running, or maybe something like Ad-aware, some of those programs will prevent "unusual" changes that will occur during installs of some software. Disable them until the install is complete. jsc248 wrote: > Hi BOB I > I am the system administrator and there is only me registered on this PC. > Any other ideas? > jsc248. > > "Bob I" wrote: > > >>If you are not logging in as the PC administrator, then permissions on >>the PC are drastically reduced.
