Computer switches on automatically in Windows XP Professional

I turn the computer off b-4 I go to bed and when I come home from work the

next day the computer is on.

Enter BIOS and turn off 'wake on LAN'.

Check in the BIOS setup program for "Wake on" settings (Wake on LAN or

similar). Turn them all off.
