windows vista Screen Saver Won't Shut Down

When I use photos as my screen saver it won't shut down at all. When I use one of Dell's, it will shut down. I see a lot of people have this problem, any suggestions?

I didn't think you could use a photo for a screen saver.

Oh yeah, it's great and worked on windows xp. It works like a slide show of all your pictures, it just won't shut down.
