Guest Mike Schumann Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 My Windows 2003 Server is totally locked. No mouse movement. CTRL ALT DEL doesn't do anything. The server still responds to pings. However WINS does not seem to be responding. How can I troubleshoot what happened and try to do an orderly shutdown. Note: This is a terminal server that had a number of sessions open when it hung up. Thanks, -- Mike Schumann
Guest Dave Patrick Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Re: Troubleshoot Windows 2003 Server Hang I'd start with a 'Safe Mode' boot and have a look at the event log. -- Regards, Dave Patrick ....Please no email replies - reply in newsgroup.
