Guest BigDogR Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I cannot add phone numbers to my Outlook contacts. A box pops up and asks what the dial up setup is, however, when I try to choose a country all of the choices are blank. I went into Control Panel - Phone and Modem and the same problem arises - I am not able to choose a country. I am losing my mind on this. -- Many thanks - BD

Let us know if it helped. Guest BigDogR Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Re: Windows XP and Outlook 2003 Thank you very much. It solved my problem. The only question I have is that when I tried to use the Microsoft Management Console option to stop the telephony service and I received a message back saying that it would also disable remote access. This step timed out and I had to use the second option..net stop tapisrv. This worked. I checked Outlook and I am OK. My question is do I need to do something to allow remote access? Or was this not affected because it timed out? -- Many thanks - BD "Matija Hrovat" wrote: > Hi BD, > try instructions in the following article: > http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914040 > > It the article does not help, try renaming the whole "Country List" registry > key into "Country List OLD" and reboot your computer. > > Let us know if it helped. > Regards, > Matija Hrovat > > "BigDogR" <BigDogR@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:74EE0DB3-C42A-473B-AFF9-1042E91B5666@microsoft.com... > >I cannot add phone numbers to my Outlook contacts. Ask in an OUTLOOK group.
