Copying a file to a network share ( mapped drive) very slow

hi

 

Copying file is very slow from window xp client to mapped network drive

which is on windows server 2003. but the copying from that mapped drive to

windows xp client is very fast. can you help me out solving this problem

Could be many things.....first might check out the realtime scan settings in

your server antivirus software.
