Guest Eric H Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 When using NT Backup to backup to a file is there a limit to the backup file it creates? I am trying to use it to backup a server but it keeps erroring with end of media encountered while backing up to non-removeable media and the file size on the external USB hard drive is 4GB.
Guest Meinolf Weber Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Re: NT Backup Hello Eric, Is the disk formatted with FAT 32? Then the maximal file size is 4 GB, convert to NTFS and you can create larger files. Guest Eric H Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Re: NT Backup Meinolf Weber, Thanks for your reply. Yes, the disk is formatted FAT32. I will convert it to NTFS. Thanks again.
