hi all :)

At the moment I am using VGA cable from my computer to the screen. I have a space for a DVI cable (DVI-D) in the back of the screen (not high def screen) and a space for DVI cable (DVI-I) and HDMI in the back of my computer.

I was wondering weather their would be a noticable diffrence in using DVI instead of VGA?

Also if it would be better to use a cable with HDMI to DVI-D connections or DVI-D connections with some sort of DVI-I converter.

Cheers

DVI - DVI - is better than DVI - HDMI

ALL PC screens are High Definition and they always have been since the days of DVI

The only difference with HDMI is that the max res is 1920x1200 but DVI is far greater than this - HDMI also carries the sound on the same channel whereas the DVI does not
