Big Pc Problem (Help!!)

well i a have several versions of windows installed on my pc yes i know this is wrong... problem is one of them is corrupted and i do no longer have the disc so have you got any ideas on how i can remove it

i cannot acess the corrupted one :S

 

then i will start completly fresh on my pc becuase its went to poor performance after a virus that my software could not pick up this is very annoying now im going to buy mcafe

If by this you intend to wipe the drive and start again - simply format the drive from the installation cd and re-install Windows.

I assume that you have a full installation version of Windows?

yes i can get onto a version of windows but how do i get rid of all of the versions they are all xp home,proffesional,media

 

one of them is corrupted and a file is missing i do no longer have the disc for that version confusing eh?

If you want to get rid of all of the Windows versions you have and start again, boot from your Windows CD. delete all partitions and reinstall Windows with the CD/DVD you have.

If you do not have the disk then get a new copy of XP and read this very carefully Mitch.

What is the exact make/model/number of this laptop?

Which version is corrupt?

What was the XP version it originally had?

Do you have the disk for the original version?

Is there a recovery option from within Windows? (original factory restore)

 

Where did these three versions come from?

Do you have the other two disks?

 

I think we need to completely get rid of all the versions and reinstall the original.
