Guest DeanB Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 A directory containing 100,000 images: I right-click | Copy and it takes minutes to respond. To actually copy them is exceedingly painful. But I can move single large files of the euqivalent total size around easily. What are some things that I might look into in improving this performance? Thanks! Dean

Yes I have resigned to that option unless someone can show me a trick (tried turning off indexing, antivirus, cannot figure out how to turn off active desktop).
