Guest Sabo, Eric Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 We have been asked that we need to install a Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) Server for an wireless. We are wondering where would be a good place to start to find out what server this needs to go on and how to configure this server. Any information would be helpful. Sorry in advance for the cross-post. Thanks, Eric Sabo

Guest Anthony Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Re: Installing a Radius Server on a Windows 2003 Server Its a lightweight service, and I think the MS documentation recommend putting it on a DC, but you don't have to, Anthony, http://www.airdesk.co.uk "Sabo, Eric" <sabo_e@cup.edu> wrote in message news:%23wznJDt$HHA.4956@TK2MSFTNGP06.phx.gbl... > What type of server should I install it on? Guest Gert.Wuite@loparex.com Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Re: Installing a Radius Server on a Windows 2003 Server Do not install RRAS on a domain controller. Use a dedicated server for it so you can optimize security (security configuraion wizard).
