Guest kim Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 When I goto the Date and Time Properties>Internet Time tab and click on update now I get this error message "An error occurred while windows was synchronizing with time.windows.com The time sample was rejected because: The peer`s stratum is less than the host`s stratum". I switched off the firewall but still no joy, have tried numerous times incase the server was busy and also tried time.nist.gov server. Any ideas why this is?

Try one of these NTP servers: "A list of the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) time servers that are available on the Internet" http://support.microsoft.com/kb/262680/en-us -- d-d
