Good Morning(Win XP Media)....Would appreciate some assistance with recent following problem.

On installing October update for Zone alarm security suite I now find I have lost All access to Zone alarm, and more alarmingly I have limited access to internet,by that I mean having accessed the net on the next attempt interent access is not available.Only by shutting down and retrying can I get 1 access.

I attempted a restore which it did bit achieved nothing,an attempt to undo restore failed.

In order to get some PC protection I attempted to download Enset, again no connection.

ALL of this has occurred since installing Ocotbers Zone alarm security suite update.

:pDont try to weather the storm, learn to dance in the rain instead!

When was the last time you updated it.

Like Daylo said there were some issues a while back.

The best fix was to uninstall it and and download the latest version.

Hi And thanks for prompt reply... sorry no disc!

And I agree there was an issue with the June update for ZA which caused no end of problems, but at least ZA published a full recovery site(this did not work this time)

Since posting I have managed to restart in safe mode and then managed to restore back to original point.Zone alarm was then found to be completely missing from all aspects of my PC....I had prior to this attempted to redownlaod ZA but was stopped by an error message mentioning something about "True Vectoring"????

Any way since the successful "restore undo", another attempt at downloading ZA 2009 has been successful with my activation code already installed.

This by the way was the latest october download,so may cause problems for other PC Health users?

It would appear that it has sorted itself out,so I will bow out gracefully, with once again my thanks

I'm glad you figured it out caskin.

On another note if you do a System Restore in Safe Mode you can not undo it. Please keep that in mind. I realize that was not the case with you.

Also thanks for the information. You know we will see it again so thanks.
