Problem with Hibernate and system restart

I used Hibernate to shut down my computer last night. This morning I went to

reboot the system and it says "The last atttempt to restart the syetem from

its previous location failed. Attempt to restart again?" Below that it has

two options " Delete restoration data and proceed to the system boot menu"

and Continue with restart" It will not allow me to select any of these. I

have tried putting an xp disk in and it will not allow me to boot from there.

I have also tried to get to the bios and it will not allow me in there

either. I can put in the sony recovery disk but this will erase everything

and start over with no recovery at all and rewrite the entire hard drive

erasing all my stuff. Need help!
