Is it standard to be given one? cheers If you do not have a disk - you will have a recovery partition on the Drive and you may have to reformat - it is the quickest way and will get rid of most Viruses. Dalo Harkin Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 You dont format the partition - when you boot your pc there should be 2 options one lists the operating system and one says recovery console - or words to those effects - you click that and it runs you through it. felixm Posted November 5, 2008 Author Posted November 5, 2008 still no joy. losing all data is no problem...my sister uses this laptop. the only thing is her ipod music, will her tunes be lost through losing the itunes list? can the data on her ipod before transfered from the ipod on to another computer? thx
