Guest Kris Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 I have been reading all the ways to fix a system when the system decides to lock you out of things even when you are the administrator and I have tried the majority of the suggestions. So far nothing has worked. I did enter safe mode and create a new admin account for me, but my problem so far has been getting it to see all of my files from the old account. Most importantly I can't seem to get it to find my Money2005 file. Can someone please let me know how to make sure I don't lose the info in the old account when switching and deleting the new one. I have tons of pics and music and docs that i can't afford to lose. -- Kris

If you just cannot get to them - then you likely are getting the 'access denied' message and merely need to take ownership of the folders in question so you can properly access said information and copy what you need out of the profile...
