Cool thanks, one more question though, what do you think caused my h drive to more than double in size?

It seems to me that it has not doubled in size but actually is that size.

 

Let me ask if you have 2 external drives as disks 0 to 2 plus the cdrom drive would occupy the 4 sata connectors on the board.

no, the drives 0 to 2 are internal, h is the only external there. 0 and 3 are sata the other two arent. im using a raid card as one of my sata ports on the mobo is damaged

SO you say that you are using a RAID CARD - are they running in any form of RAID or are they just running as JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks)

pretty sure their just a bunch of discs, only installed it recently though

Ok - do you know what the Caddy uses - I am guessing that it was once in Mirrored and now is in JBOD mode
