windows 7 Windows 7 .net Framework Application Issue

Hi;

 

I am using windows 7 with a bespoke application which uses .net framework 3.5.1; the problem is that of late (since 04/10/11) I can only open the application once and then I have to re-set the windows features framework afresh in order to get the application to work properly again. i.e. I open the application once; close it re-open it and sure enough there are no fonts displayed against the icons and the functionality is all but gone and te application freezes invariably. But by setting the windows feature's framework 3.5.1 to be un-ticked; re-boot and then re-set the framework the application works as it should .... unitll I close it and teh cycle of hell begins all over.

 

No one seems to have any idea; tried everything; re-install etc etc .... but other people on the same windows setup seem to have no issues.

 

 

 

Please do you have any ideas?

Have you tried selecting properties on the executable and setting it to use the correct framework. My bet is you have 4.0 installed and it is creating the problem.
