windows xp Pae Enabling

hai one and all...........ple help me to how enabling the PAE in my xp3 dell vostro system.

 

 

 

in my system there is a 4 gb rams are placed but in my computer properties it show as 2.96gb only, my manager ask me y it happening....and find out ple help me.....

 

here we are using the operating system is xp3 (32-bit), ple send an answer stp by step

More than likely the memory missing is being used for the video. The most you'll see with xp 32 is 3.5 gigs anyway. It's just the way 32 bit os deal with memory.
