windows 7 Viruses suck. They've scarred my computer for life... HELP!

Ok so I got a bunch of viruses a while back and I cleaned them all from my computer using a spyware software. But ever since then every time I open a program it asks me what I want to use to open it with. It always offers the internet explorer and Firefox (because I use Firefox and not the explorer) and it also offers the browse button. Sometimes if I'm lucky I can use a file from the 'browse' and open what I need, but that's not often... All my games, Office, and even my solitaire can't be opened!

I would be so happy if someone could help me. :(

What you need to do is a repair install of Windows 7.

 

Reboot the computer and tap on F8 when the bios screen loads. This will bring to the repair console.

I tried that and it detected nothing... I used Kapresky. I still have it installed, do you think the Kapersky software is blocking up my computer?

I doubt it is. I would try an online virus scanner to check things.
