download problem

i dunno if this goes here, but i have vista and i couldnt find anywhere else to post it.

In the last week i havent been able to download anything. Email attachements and friends sending files on msn mainly. It goes through the normal processes i choose save, select the file it downloads says complete but then when i click open it cant find the file, or says it doesnt exhist. I search for it and low and behold it doesnt. Same on msn, downloads says download complete and click the link to open and it does nothing, files not in recieved files or where i try and save on desktop.

 

Any ideas?

this actualy started when i set up user accounts

Some options:

 

1) See if you can download using the Firefox browser.

 

2) Try Safe Mode With Networking.

 

Does this occur in all accounts?
