Tootech Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Hi Sean, Just having a read about the problems you are having.... You mentioned you have two hard drives plugged in and two CD/DVD drives. Which drive are you attempting the install on, IDE or SATA? To avoid any confusion, disconnect the hard drive that you are NOT installing on for the moment - also, disconnect the CD/DVD drive that you are not using to run the install. That way, no other drives can get in the way and confuse the issue. Also, you mentioned that when you install it doesn't always work - quote "I have installed xp to the harddrive but it not always being dectected" Can you explain what that means, and any error message you get. So, for example, when you reboot after install, nothing happens and there is an error message "No Operating System Installed" - that's a common one. Does yours do similar or does it just sit there doing nothing? Let us know what happens. Quote
