Guest PenguinMan98 Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 I go into the 'view'->'Toolbars' and click on the address bar to show it and the word 'Address' shows up on the right side of the browsing control bar but there is no address bar that I can see. If I use the resize feature to shrink the window down, eventually I can get it to show just a little bit of it when it wraps to the next bar down. This is just enough for me to paste a location into. How can I get the address bar to show across the top like in an internet browser? (and like all previous versions of Windows)
Guest Ramesh, MS-MVP Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Re: I can't see the address bar in my file browser You need to move/arrange the "Address" toolbar to your preferred location. From the View menu, click Toolbars, and click Lock the Toolbars to uncheck this menu option. Then drag the Move handle that appears at the left edge of the "Address" toolbar. -- Regards, Ramesh Srinivasan, Microsoft MVP [Windows Shell/User] Windows® Troubleshooting http://www.winhelponline.com "PenguinMan98" <PenguinMan98@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:ED9D4803-3A1F-4E4E-9D9C-DC675308972B@microsoft.com...
