:) Hi Imran and Welcome to Extreme Tech Support - Free PC Help.:)

I may not be the right person to solve your problem but I do want to make sure we have it right and maybe get a few answers that may help ease the process.

If I have it right you cannot access your dektop icons at all and get an error sound when you try?

You can access programs on the task bar including your strart button.

When you hit the start button can you get to all your programs or only the ones in the Start menu?

About the mouse.

Can you get into your control panel using the start Menue?

If you can, then check to see if there has been any change in the settings under mouse and that they are as you want them to be.

I am just not sure of extent of your problem and we do want help you get it sorted.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
